It started at Dick's Den. Keith and I were having vodka sodas and watching Bergman films projected on the wall. We were talking about the future, talking about Columbus, talking about what we wanted our lives to look like. We were talking about art and music and community.
We wanted to create a space that was a recording studio and an art gallery and an events space — a place where artists of all kinds could come together. A place that was a little bit like Dick's Den, a little bit like a church, a little bit like a living room.
When we reopened, something had shifted. The need for community and connection was more urgent than ever. Artists were hungry for a place to make things together. Secret Studio became that place.
We are located in the Franklinton Arts District — Columbus's most creatively alive neighborhood — at 503 West Walnut Street. Come make something with us.
